- Maintains the third-party risk management framework and related documentation and standards
- Works with the different SME teams and engagement owners throughout the lines of business, and trains to Third Party Management standards and framework
- Tracks and reports on third party key risk indicators, which includes the status of SME risk assessments, issues, and action plans of third-party engagements
- Provides support on regulatory exam management and internal audit responses
- Compiles and reconciles third-party reporting data for committee and board reporting
- Proactively identifies and mitigates third-party related risk
- Leads the implementation of the Governance Risk and Compliance third-party risk management platform covering the life cycle of third-party relationships
- Develops dashboard presentations and reports, and provide periodic updates to various Risk Committees on the status of the third-party risk management program
- Provides appropriate guidance, advice and credible challenge to internal vendor relationship managers and vendors
- Identifies and communicates aggregated vendor risks to business lines throughout the organization
- Updates and documents due diligence tracking with real time status and escalates issues and concerns (e.g., oversight deficiencies, program concerns, and open risk items)
- Evaluates third parties as a subject matter expert in the areas of operation, fourth parties, financials, and reputation for compliance to company standards, TPRM policies, and Federal regulations
- Reads and understands contractual agreements to ensure identified risks comply with the Company's policies and procedures, legal, and regulatory requirements, and financial control guidelines
- Leads and contributes to developing and enhancing the third-party risk process
- Ensure compliance with Northwest’s policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations
- Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency
- Work as part of a team
- Work with on-site equipment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related
- 6-8 years of Banking, Legal, or Regulatory experience
Job Summary
Executes risk oversight reporting and exam management in connection with the Third-Party Risk Management Program, Policy, and framework. These activities include monitoring compliance with the program requirements, supporting the maintenance and enhancements of enterprise policies and procedures, and the oversight of identified critical and strategic services being provided to Northwest.
