What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Speak with consumers over the phone, providing crisis intervention and support for emotional distress or mental health issues
- Build rapport and client engagement
- Assess risk and manage documentation during calls
- Provide resources and information as needed
- Identify safe coping strategies and develop safety plans
- Perform emergency interventions when necessary
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate degree (MSW, PsyD, or PhD) in a behavioral health field or a master's degree (M.A. or M.S.) with a clinical practice emphasis from an accredited program
- Licensed as a limited or fully licensed social worker or counselor according to state licensing board requirements

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in crisis intervention or mental health counseling
- Familiarity with COAMFTE, CACREP, or CORE accreditation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
