      Location: Remote in the U.S.

      About the Role:

      The Global Threat Analysis Cell (GTAC) is responsible for developing and attributing adversaries and tracking adversary activity. GTAC monitors numerous incidents, activity clusters, and adversary campaigns with a specific focus on identifying shifts in tradecraft, tooling, target scope and motivation. CrowdStrike is looking for a Threat Intelligence Intern to join our growing Counter Adversary Operations department

      What You’ll Do:

      • Conduct and evaluate open source research on various predetermined cyber security topics supporting CrowdStrike customers.

      • Support GTAC’s targeted intrusion mission teams to track state-nexus adversaries, threats, and trends

      • Contribute to finished intelligence analysis and assessments to internal and external customers through written reporting.

      • Learn cyber security concepts and threat actor Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs).

      What You'll Need:

      • Currently enrolled in a 4-year University working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in or have relevant experience in Cyber Intelligence, Computer Science, General Intelligence Studies, Security Studies, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field.

      • An eagerness to learn through hands-on experience and collaborative projects specific to your internship field.

      • Experience in researching and writing.

      • Although CrowdStrike is a primarily remote company, collaboration is intrinsic to the success of our mission. Therefore, the strongest applicants will be those who can communicate effectively and frequently, and work well with fellow interns and employees.

      Bonus Points:

      • Experience or familiarity with cyber threat intelligence tools, datasets, and analytic techniques

      • Familiarity with Computer Network Operations (CNO) campaign tracking, including working with technical indicators pertaining to malware and network infrastructure

      • Self motivated and actively seeking opportunities for growth.
