Essential Job Duties
This is an 11-month temporary internship position with compensation by hourly bi-weekly payroll and is overtime eligible.
NC State University, Intercollegiate Athletics: D-I, Atlantic Coast Conference, is seeking a highly motivated, goal and team oriented individual looking for career experience in ticket operations and sales.
This is an opportunity to gain exposure to all facets of college athletic administration (ticket sales, service, operations, compliance, facilities, event management, game-day operations, marketing, development, etc.) through running the day-to-day operations of the NC State Athletics Ticket Office.
A Ticket Office Assistant’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing customer service via phone, mail and walk-up; conducting outbound sales and service calls; processing orders and mailings through Paciolan ticketing software; printing tickets; assisting service and retention efforts; allocating tickets in conjunction with the NC State Student Aid Association; assisting with ticket reconciliations; cash management; data entry; supervising and leading student workforce; and student ticket distribution.
Additional responsibilities will include assisting and leading in game day operations and management for football, men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, gymnastics, baseball, softball, wrestling, and additional events as assigned.Is Time Limited
