Coordinate with Labor Relations to input the required payroll information for craft professionals

Enter data such as new hires, terminations, rate/classification changes

Onboard new hires and manage site badging
-
Verify daily craft attendance via the eTrack electronic timekeeping system
-
Reconcile and export daily time records for craft employees
-
Maintain time clocks and reissue badges as needed
-
Generate/distribute reports (e.g., force reports, attendance issues, timesheet completion)
-
Distribute weekly payroll checks/direct deposit slips
-
Process time-off requests and daily call-ins for craft staff
-
Maintain employee files and scan for records retention
-
Update crew timesheets as directed by construction supervisors
-
Monitor gate access via badge scanning
-
Provide customer service to craft professionals on payroll/timekeeping issues
-
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Timekeeper or the Project Finance/Accounting Manager

1–2 years of timekeeping/payroll experience
-
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
-
Flexible schedule availability, including overtime and weekends/holidays
-
Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
-
Customer service experience
-
Analytical skills with the ability to independently solve routine issues

Reporting to the Chief Timekeeper, the Project Timekeeper performs timekeeping and craft payroll functions for active construction projects. The role requires confidentiality, professionalism, customer-service orientation, flexibility, and strict deadline adherence. Overtime is required weekly, including many Saturdays, some Sundays, and occasional holidays. Swing/night shift coverage may be needed. The role is based at the Thacker Pass/Winnemucca jobsite in Nevada, with potential travel to other project office locations, such as the Houston Home Office.
