- Schedule appointments for visits with parents/guardians of Title I students and follow up with visits, as appropriate.
- Make appropriate follow up contacts with school personnel, when necessary, to share information concerning the student.
- Communicate with Title I teachers and families concerning Title I students and school activities.
- Encourage and support positive home-school communications.
- Assist with operation of the schools’ Parent Resource Room, if applicable.
- Attend regular meetings with Title I Parent and Family Engagement Coordinator.
- Assist Title I Parent and Family Engagement Coordinator with Family training sessions and other related activities.
- Maintain daily time log and accurate records of family engagement activities.
- Complete required records and documents in a timely manner.
- Participate in professional learning, as appropriate.
- Perform other duties that support the Title I Parent and Family Engagement Policies and the Title I Program, as assigned.
- Working Environment:
The usual and customary methods of performing the job & functions require the following physical demands: Lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling. Generally, the job requires 60% sitting, 15% lifting/carrying and 25% standing/walking. SALARY RANGE : $12.55 to 17.01 an hour based on years of verified experience: 183 days per year: 6-8 hours a day. - High school graduate
