      Position Summary

      As a Policy Production Specialist, you’ll be responsible for generating title policies, construction binders and endorsements along with reviewing closing documents and maintaining a high-volume workload. You will use your strong analytical skills to identify inconsistencies and potential errors in recorded legal documents, and correcting or facilitating the correction of errors required for policy completion. Collaboration with escrow team members, underwriters, partners, lenders, and customers on the timely completion and delivery of the title policies and endorsements will also be required.

      Responsibilities and Duties

      • Full-time office presence required.
      • Type and prepare title insurance policies, endorsements, and construction binders.
      • Organize and prioritize a high-volume workload to meet deadlines.
      • Proofread title policies and endorsements for accuracy and compliance.
      • Identify and resolve inconsistencies in legal documents.
      • Collaborate with various stakeholders to complete and deliver title policies.
      • Follow up on outstanding items for policy completion.
      • Submit policies for underwriter review and maintain tracking for signed policies.
      • Process and ship completed policies and legal documents to clients.
      • Backup team members for title commitment updates as needed.
      • Maintain open communication with all parties.
      • Adhere to company values, guidelines, and procedures.
      • Perform other duties as required.

      Qualifications


      Experience

      • College Degree preferred
      • Proven experience as a Policy Typist or Title Agency Examiner is required
      • In-depth knowledge of Texas title procedures, practices and terminology is required
      • Prior working experience with RamQuest CCE is preferred, but not required
      • Friendly and professional attitude and appearance are required
      • Excellent computer skills are required, as we are considered a paperless environment with over 95% of work requiring a computer
      • High level of personal ownership and accountability are required
      • Must be very detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and handle high work volume and deadlines
      • Excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal) are required
      • Must possess the ability to listen, take notes and follow very detailed instructions to complete tasks in a timely, efficient and error-free manner
      • Ability to learn quickly and effectively
      • Working knowledge of Microsoft systems (Outlook, Word and Excel) is required
