Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned TLL Certified Heavy Equipment Operator to join our faculty team. This role is integral to our operations, requiring a professional with a strong background in heavy equipment operation and certification through NCCCO. This is a full-time position, running courses Monday to Thursday for ten hours a day with new classes every three weeks.
Responsibilities:
1. Teach adult learners how to safely operate heavy equipment and/or cranes.
2. Understand and execute pre-existing course curriculum
3. Measure student's ability to understand and apply coursework both in written and practical exams
4. Record Student attendance
5. Assess and record student progress using SAP
6. Participate in professional development activities
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a related field is preferred.
2. LAT Certification in Heavy Equipment Operation.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a manufacturing setting.
4. Proven ability to use rigor and signal skills to interpret and respond to complex operational situations.
5. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
8. Commitment to adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations.
9. Proven track record of reliability and punctuality.
10. Ability to train and mentor junior team members.
11. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
12. Willingness to participate in continuous improvement initiatives and professional development opportunities.
