Job Description
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing high-quality Android applications and a deep understanding of Android development best practices. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Requirements: +5 years of experience in developing high-quality Android applications. Proficiency in Java and Kotlin, the primary languages for Android development. Strong understanding of the Android Software Development Kit (SDK) and its components like activities, fragments, services, and broadcast receivers. Nice to have: Knowledge of UI design principles, patterns, and best practices, including working with XML layouts and Android's UI components. Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. Proficiency with version control systems like Git. Knowledge of SQLite, Room, and other database management systems to handle data storage. Familiarity with Firebase for various services like authentication, real-time database, analytics, and cloud messaging. Understanding of build tools like Gradle for managing project dependencies and build configurations. Knowledge of Android Jetpack components like LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, and WorkManager. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing interfaces. Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers. Implement and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability. EEO/About Us
