      WHAT YOU'LL DO

      The TMT Practice Area is one of BCG's industry practice areas, globally serving cutting-edge clients in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications space. We are seeking a strong candidate to support the Global TMT Knowledge Team (KT), a team of ~40 subject matter experts that serve case teams and clients and develop data assets / proprietary IP. As an intern with the TMT KT you will be responsible for supporting IP development for the Tech team (80%) and driving a transformation across all sectors of the KT team (20%).

      This position will support the needs of our rapidly growing and expanding business including:
      • Developing tools and assets the Tech Knowledge Team can use with cases and clients: including market models, benchmarks and more
      • Tracking progress against Key Performance Indicators across all sectors in the Knowledge Team: Defining priorities, tracking performance and working with leaders to define action areas
      • Driving a communications plan: Identifying the right communications cadence (meetings, newsletters) for the KT team, and building a senior stakeholder engagement plan

      You will also have the opportunity to interface with colleagues across each of our 3 sectors as well as our Finance, People and Marketing teams as well as other BCG functions, e.g. Recruiting, HR etc.

      YOU'RE GOOD AT

      • Working collaboratively and flexibly with senior colleagues across the globe
      • Data analysis and advanced modelling (to be used in tool/IP development)
      • Professional communication and interpersonal skills, including strong, clear verbal communication, crisp writing skills for large audiences and familiarity with structured powerpoint presentations for senior leaders
      • Organized and detail-oriented – able to manage your own agenda and deliverables with discipline - strong sense of ownership and very outcome orientated
      • Confident and able to engage with senior Leaders
      • Flexibility to work with a global team

      YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

      • Preference for someone with a BS/BA in Business or with strong interest
      • Previous commercial internship experience in Consulting or related fields is considered an asset, but not a requirement
      • Desire to learn quickly and high level of resourcefulness and initiative
      • Strong academic performance
      • Strong MS Office suite experience – Excel and PowerPoint
      • Ability to work in fast-paced environment

      A team that is committed to working with the leading Telecommunications, Media and Technology companies to solve some of the world’s biggest challenges. Our Knowledge Team is globally dispersed and works together virtually using collaboration tools including Slack and Zoom. You will work with the Knowledge Business Director (based in Denver) and Sector experts (located across the Globe), as well as the Global Practice Director (Hong Kong-based)
