Job Description

- ??Loads, unloads, stores, transports and furnishes workers with tools and supplies.
- Maintains consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limit as inventory dwindles.
- ??Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
- ??Provides inventory reports to purchasing and inventory control manager.
- ??Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.
- ??Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
- Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits.
- Maintains a safe, clean and secure space with an identified place for everything to provide quick identification of missing or damaged equipment.
- Ensures work areas are restocked with supplies and materials as necessary.
- Support warehouse operations by transporting materials over designated routes.
- Provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders.
- ??Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing department, and outside vendors.
- ??Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
- ??Proficient keyboarding skills.
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift.
- Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
- ??Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.
- ??Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- ??High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Current Class A - Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Required.
- Clean Driving Record Required.
- ??Experience with computerized inventory systems required.
- Forklift operator certification preferred.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to reach with arms and use tools above/over the head.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to stand (for extended periods of time), walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl and twist
- Ability to sit, balance and climb ladders, scaffolds and other objects.
- Ability to move in and around confined and cluttered places and uneven areas.
- Ability to work up to a 12-hour shift in all weather and temperature extremes.
