      Your Qualifications:

      • High School or GED.
      • Ability to work a day shift, Monday through Friday.
      • Must be able to operate mobile equipment; climb ladders; work periodically at elevated heights.
      • Must have valid Driver's License.
      • Previous storeroom and tool room experience.
      • Average computer skills.
      • Previous manufacturing experience.
      • Self motivated.
      • Team player.
      • General knowledge of warehouse for material handling.
      • Prior forklift experience.

      Your Purpose:

      You will perform material handling and item counting duties necessary to receive, store, and issue maintenance and operating parts, tools, supplies, equipment, and materials. Perform messenger and parts chasing duties. Follow standard operating procedures, written and verbal instructions.

      Your Work:

      • Locate parts in catalogs or on the computer.
      • Retrieve parts from shelves or racks for issue to maintenance or production workers, logging all related data on the appropriate forms and entering the issue data on the computer.
      • Stock parts and supplies and records proper data.
      • Accept shipments from carriers, inspecting the materials for damages or shortages, securing and signing for all appropriate paperwork.
      • Unload or arranges for unloading of materials, checking in and processing materials for disposal to the appropriate area, processing and forwarding associated paperwork to the appropriate area for payment procedures, notifying appropriate person in cases of discrepancies.
      • Operate mobile equipment and performs necessary preventive maintenance.
      • Perform daily preventative maintenance, record and inspection on vehicles and mobile equipment to include fueling, cleaning, checking and adding fluid as needed.
      • Assist in training of coworkers as needed.
      • Operate mobile equipment and overhead cranes to transfer product/material while following all safety rules and regulations.
      • Execute general 5S activities in the work area.

      Physical Requirements:

      • Ability to climb stairs, climb ladders, reach, squat, tolerate prolonged standing or walking, balance, bend from trunk, operate mobile equipment, crawl, kneel and stoop.
      • Ability to operate hand controls with both hands.
      • Ability to operate foot pedals with both feet, to repetitively lift objects of various dimensions and weights.
      • Ability to perform sustained overhead reaching and to work in cramped quarters and tolerate heights.
      • Ability to operate various size hand tools and to tolerate all out-door environment conditions.
