      Job Title: Tool Room Technician


      Job Description

      The Tool Room Technician is entrusted with the crucial responsibility of cleaning and maintaining molds, performing insert changes, and executing routine maintenance and repairs related to mold breakdowns. This role requires collaboration with other production team members and reports directly to the Tool Room Supervisor.

      Responsibilities

      • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on tooling and fixtures from the tool room.
      • Manage the issuance and return of tooling and equipment.

      Essential Skills

      • Strong mechanical skills.
      • Experience in plastic injection molding is preferred.
      • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Willingness to learn blueprint reading.
      • Ability to use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
      • Basic math proficiency.

      Work Environment

      The work environment involves collaboration with production team members and direct reporting to the Tool Room Supervisor. The role requires proficiency in handling various tools related to injection mold, tooling, mold repair, toolroom operations, and troubleshooting. It demands the ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance while working with hydraulics.

      The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $66560.00/yr.
