      Job Title: Tooling Technician


      Job Description

      The tooling technician will operate tool room equipment and perform inspections and maintenance documentation for machinery. Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment problems, cleaning and lubricating gears, bearings, and shafts, and adjusting and calibrating machinery.

      Responsibilities

      • Operate tool room equipment.
      • Inspect machinery and document maintenance activities.
      • Diagnose problems with current equipment.
      • Clean and lubricate gears, bearings, and shafts.
      • Adjust and calibrate machinery.
      • Collaborate with maintenance teams on tooling fixtures, gauges, and other equipment.
      • Interpret GD&T and blueprints.

      Essential Skills

      • Proficiency in CNC, grinding, and machining activities.
      • Knowledge of lathes, grinding, welding, machining, and heat treating.
      • Experience with tool and die, machining, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing software.
      • Ability to build tooling for automotive parts manufacturing.
      • Skill in machining parts to maintain product specifications.
      • Expertise in ensuring product quality according to customer requirements.
      • Experience in metal fabrication, mills, lathes, grinding, and blueprint reading.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Must have millwright or machinist experience.
      • Familiarity with TS and ISO standards.

      Work Environment

      The role involves occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and particles in a non-temperature controlled welding environment. The position is focused on automotive parts production.

      This is a Permanent position based out of NA, Kentucky.

      The pay range for this position is $79040.00 - $79040.00/yr.
