- Precision tooling: Work to exact specifications and produce high-quality parts.
- Operate a range of metalworking equipment, including grinders, jigs, fixtures, manual and CNC machines, to meet precise tolerances.
- Make, maintain, and repair tools and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Read and interpret drawings.
- Test and modify manufactured articles.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to solve complex manufacturing challenges.
- A formal trade qualification in toolmaking or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 5+ years of experience in a toolmaking or machinist role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in operating CNC machines.
- Studied drawings and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to overcome manufacturing challenges.
- An eye for detail and a passion for producing high-quality, precise work.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate clearly across teams.
- Be passionate about safety and keeping everyone safe by following safe work practices and safety procedures.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the organisation.
- Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing.
