      This is not a CNC Machinist and not a machine operator position. We are seeking a Toolmaker; a Precision Machinist with an eye for detail who enjoys the Machine Shop environment. We are looking for one who is self-disciplined and appreciates the skills and experience needed in reading prints to create fixtures; using manual equipment such as Knee Mills, Lathes, Vertical & Horizontal Saws, or Surface Grinders; and can perform and inspect heat treated parts. Our Machine Shop has the latest equipment to procure work efficiently in a climate-controlled environment.

      As a Toolmaker Precision Machinist, you’ll

      • Design and procure fixturing as needed
      • Operate machines such as Knee Mills, Lathes, Vertical & Horizontal Saws, or Surface Grinders
      • Perform part inspection to ensure quality work
      • Prep, perform, and inspect heat treated parts
      • General shop maintenance
      • High school diploma/GED and minimum 3 years related machine shop or toolmaker experience
      • Experience in basic quality inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, various gauges) and basic understanding of GD&T with true machine shop results

      This isn't a CNC machine operator position but a great role for the experienced Toolmaker who has craftsmanship skills and wants to perform in a state-of-the-art, clean, air-cooled machine shop on first shift.

      • High school diploma/GED is required with a minimum of 3 years related machine shop or toolmaker experience
      • Experience in basic quality inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, various gauges, etc. is required with true machine shop results
      • Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) is required
      • Basic experience in Microsoft Office
