      We are looking for a Tools & Systems Engineer to join our Star Wars FPS team. You'll report to the Lead Tools & System Engineer to help build out our tools, automation, and pipelines that support both our game and developers.

      Responsibilities

      • Support development by building out shared tooling and associated services for the entire team
      • Facilitate multi-platform development by creating or extending existing tooling (desktop, console)
      • Integrate and expand upon our pipelines through scripts, plugins, libraries, automation, and shared services

      Required Qualifications

      • 1+ years of experience with C#
      • 1+ years of developing in a scripting language (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
      • Experience developing development tools, services, and/or rich client applications
      • Experience developing for or extending build pipelines
      • Strong communication skills

      Desired Qualifications

      • Experience with C++
      • Experience with C# desktop UI frameworks (WPF, UWP, MAUI)
      • Experience with Powershell scripting
      • Experience working with consoles
      • Experience extending and developing a Game Engine
      • Development experience on Linux environments

      US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

      The hourly pay ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the hourly pay range for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

      HOURLY PAY RANGES

      • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
      º $45 - $68
      • New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
      º $40 - $68
      • Jersey City, NJ:
      º $53 - $68
      • Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
      º $40 - $56
      • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
      º $40 - $68

      The hourly rate is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
