  Zantech is looking for a talented Top Secret Cleared Chief Cloud Architect and Lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead IT and Cloud Architecture, Administration, and Engineering projects, AWS GovCloud architecture and infrastructure support, and Cloud migration and system architecture design for an upcoming role based out of the Pentagon near Washington DC.

  The Chief Cloud Architect and Lead SME will provide expert knowledge of AWS GovCloud architecture and infrastructure support, designing and maintaining scalable, secure cloud solutions that enable reliable digital services for millions of military family members worldwide.

  Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

  • Expert AWS GovCloud architecture and infrastructure support
  • Design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions
  • Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives
  • Develop technical architecture documentation and roadmaps
  • Infrastructure optimization and performance tuning
  • DevSecOps and Agile development environment experience preferred
  • Must support 24/7/365 operations capability
  • DoD compliance and security framework expertise essential

  Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:

  • Minimum 6 years DoD or Federal IT Architecture and/or Infrastructure experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in AWS GovCloud architecture and infrastructure support
  • Skills Required:
  • AWS GovCloud architecture and design
  • Federal/DoD IT infrastructure expertise
  • Cloud migration and modernization
  • Infrastructure engineering and optimization
  • Technical architecture documentation and planning

  Required Certifications/Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, information systems, or related field
  • Advanced degree in relevant technical field preferred
  • One of the following certifications required:
  • CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSO, GCIA, GCSA, GCLD, GICSP, GSLC, CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP
  • Certifications Preferred:
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
  • Additional cloud architecture certifications

  Required Security Clearance:

  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Top Secret or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
