- Manage local NAVIS TOS, TOS linked applications with the support teams across the globe to ensure proper IT service management of the Terminal Operating System / NAVIS SPARCS N4.
- Overseeing the management and implementation of terminal TOS & systems.
- Researches and analyzes improvement opportunities, conducts analysis, prepare recommendations for system configurations based on the business targets across the year, considering peak seasons, business rules and equipment availability.
- Supports, reviews and understands the system design, process requirements to develop software functional specifications for optimization/continuous improvement projects in Terminal Operations System.
- Ensure proper system integrations, software rollout planning, quality management, and commissioning for the TOS and support application configurations.
- Collaborate with the regional platform Sr business analysts and Delivery Management to identify opportunities to modernize, streamline and standardize the terminal tech portfolio.
- Implement and ensure proper application lifecycle and version management by following up every software release into production environment while acting as hyper care support.
- Capable to implement Lean operational methods that support pull/push workflow to allow the proper configuration of the company’s FLOW business process.
- Lead inter-department troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis exercises for operational incidents at the application level, develop requirements, and support documentation and procedure generation efforts.
- Act as the incident manager Lead troubleshooting calls for Incidents Priority 1 to 4 to ensure proper response and mitigation of business impact.
- Works closely with terminal operations and functional team to identify and implement improvements to business operations, services, and models.
- Define and ensure vendor SLAs are meet by use of proper KPIs.
- Education – University or higher vocational degree and certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline is preferred.
- Experience – Minimum ten (10) years of Terminal experience, automation component experience is preferred.
- Minimum fix (5) years managing high availability (HA) designed applications with a target SLA above 99% of uptime.
- Experience on IT support organizations Level 3, prior IT support manager experience prefer. • Proven experience in large systems upgrades projects.
- Highly experienced on Software application life cycle and IT Service Management. Terminal TOS SPARCS N4, ERP and Gate applications. Application integrations.
- ITIL V4 Certified, experience with Terminal Operations System and knowledge on application architecture design is a must.
- Application architecture re-design experience is highly recommended.
- Collaboration – Build working relationships with stakeholders. Must possess empathy, personal tact, cultural understanding, and well-developed communication skills (cross functional as well as on different levels).
- Functional Excellence - Ability to provide leadership, obtain cooperation and assistance to meet objectives. Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure (time and resources), and to apply analytical thinking and creative problem solving to daily tasks. Must be well-organized, punctual, and persistent (personal discipline) with strong internal client service skills.

- Good leadership and communication skills
- Shows credibility with Terminal leadership team • Experience with Agile principles and methods
- Experience with applying WOW (Lean) standards and tooling
- Problem Solving experience.
This position is based on Pier 400 on in Los Angeles, CA and the position is 100% onsite.

$160,000 to $180,000

The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
