TOTAL JOINT ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON -Henry Ford Hospital, Jackson MI is seeking a full-time Orthopedic -Total Joint Physician to join the Orthopedic team in Jackson. This position will be hired under the Henry Ford Medical Group or the Henry Ford Allegiance Medical Group. We are seeking a full-time, Board Certified / Board Eligible, Orthopedic Surgeon (MD/DO), who is Fellowship trained in Total Joints.
Henry Ford’s current orthopedic team is a robust, respectable team of Fellowship trained providers; Hand and Wrist (3), Foot and Ankle (1), Podiatrist (1), Total Joint (1), Traumatologist (2), Sports (2), Non-Surgical Sports (2) and several Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs) that support the ortho team in the clinic, side lines, and on the inpatient side.
Candidate must be comfortable with Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction, Complex Primary Hip and Knee, Anterior Hip Replacement, and Revision Hip and Knee Replacement. Call is 1:6 The clinic and outpatient surgery center are located across the street from the hospital, there is a second surgery center in Grass Lake Michigan. The Grass Lake Surgery Center is a joint venture with the physicians and hospital. Our providers are seeing an average of 22 patients a day with an average of those being 7 new patient consults. Henry Ford Ja ckson has a large referral source, with an instant busy practice.
