Support the continuous evaluation of total rewards processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and build standardization
Gather and analyze compensation, pension and benefits data, ensuring accuracy, completeness and data integrity
Prepare and generate reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights to collaborators and senior management
Assist in developing comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the total rewards offerings to ensure they continue to deliver value for the business and its employees
Assist the total rewards team with annual pay reviews, bonus planning cycles, pension, benefits and mobility administration
Provide assistance with the preparation of compensation, pension and benefits reports and presentations for senior leaders
Be involved in the development of total rewards strategies, philosophies, policies and programs for Aviva Canada
Conduct research on market-specific compensation, benefits and pension plans to maintain a view on market trends and competitive alignment
Find opportunities and recommend improvements and changes to plans to address market changes, regulatory changes etc.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
A relevant certification or progress towards a certification such as CCP, CHRP, CHRL is highly preferred
Solid understanding in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database management
Ability to work with large and sophisticated data sets
Strong financial analysis and commercial competence relative to the compensation, benefits and pension space
Strong project and organizational change capabilities
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
Must be forward thinking, highly organized, detail oriented and possess solid decision making skills
Proven ability to balance multiple responsibilities and effectively meet deadlines
Results oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage several priorities and projects simultaneously
Strong desire to learn and develop

We are currently seeking a Total Rewards Associate to join our team. As a member of the Total Rewards team at Aviva Canada, you are joining a team passionate about creating effective Compensation, Benefits, Pension and Wellness programs that support the Physical, Mental and Financial Wellbeing of our People.
This individual will provide support in coordinating existing total rewards (compensation, pension, benefits, wellness and mobility processes, while using industry benchmarking to re-evaluate plans where necessary. They will also support the development and maintenance of total reward policies, processes and tools.
This role reports directly to the VP of Total rewards for Aviva Canada.
