Job Description

- Responsible for the day to day coordination of catering ramp operations
- Be familiar and work cohesively with all ACS disciplines within the ACC
- Execute a high standard of ramp, food, and aircraft safety
- Continuous monitoring of Flight Family as it pertaining to missing catering items/equipment while coordinating their delivery through Cater dispatch for an on-time departure
- Supports all Charter operations
- Partner with ACS to ensure clear ramp areas to avoid gate blockage for Catering trucks
- Closely connected with Gate Keeper position in the ACC to communicate and coordinate aircraft swaps
- Monitor ground radio frequencies and coordination as needed
- Work closely with all OCC Catering desk during all tactical and strategic planning sessions for your station
- Constant focus and adherence to published policies, procedures, and provisioning specifications
- Main point of contact for delay root cause analysis and template completion
- Be familiar with all Catering business continuity plans when a level of high operational impact has been identified
- Understand and execute flight prioritization from a catering perspective when applicable
- Understand and activate high wind protocols when applicable
- Maintain keen awareness of local weather or other issues that could cause a station IROP
- Work proficiently in tools such as Flight Family, FACTs, Bridge Desktop, IFX, O2P, GP4, and all other identified applications
- Ensures appropriate leadership level awareness of operational challenges and issues for the day
- Expected to think and act creatively to solve constraints in the name of what is best for the Delta customer

- Candidates for this position should have at minimum ahigh school diploma/GED
- Strong operational understanding
- Good analytical and root cause analysis skills
- Willing to work irregular and varying schedules (including holidays)
- Demonstrated skills and abilities to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization (frontline to executives) using a variety of tools
- Excellent critical thinking and quality decision making abilities
- Be performing satisfactorily in present position
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data

- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
- ACC or previous operations experience
- Thorough knowledge of Catering operations or mass kitchen and food processing/ handling
How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
On Board Services is seeking a self-directed individual who has demonstrated operational experience with strong awareness of the Catering operations. They must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills that are effective and in line with Rules of The Road. They must be able to communicate upwards and on behalf of the OBS organization. They must have a keen sense of customer impact when operational constraints occur. They will also be expected to promote a safety culture, as well as operation excellence on a day to day basis. This individual will keep a watch over all last mile activities at a station level for Catering Operations. They will report directly to the Regional Manager and have frequent contact with Director, Managing Director, and Vice President level leaders.
