- Based in Auckland
- Deliver design and maintenance work for railway infrastructure traction and electrical assets.
- Pay Range - $80,000 - $100,000 per annum
- Provide expert technical advice for traction and electrical maintenance and upgrades.
- Produce and peer review design solutions for traction and electrical assets.
- Support the development of asset management strategies for traction and electrical assets.
- Manage and support maintenance and renewal projects, managing contracts and liaising with third parties.
- Support and carry out traction and electrical engineering inspections.
- Support training and supervision of junior engineers, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
- Produce and review technical documentation, specifications, standards and instructions.
- Working experience with relevant design software and systems is essential (Microstation and AutoCAD).
- Experience with design and asset management.
- Working experience and knowledge of Revizto is desirable.
- Chartered Engineer or working towards becoming chartered is desirable.
- Relevant post-grad qualifications are desirable.

What you’ll do
Reporting to the Engineering Design Lead - Traction & Electrical, you’ll be responsible for the delivering design and maintenance work for railway infrastructure traction and electrical assets.

You’ll have a Tertiary qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline along with 3+ years’ experience in an Engineering environment, specifically OLE Design work.
