- Contribute to deal life cycle: from origination to execution and subsequent transition to portfolio management
- Support senior transaction professionals globally in advancing the transaction deal life cycle
- Example workstreams include: marketing materials, pricing models, internal deal memos and execution documentation
- Learn and apply deal structuring considerations, that include “boxes and arrows” and cash-flow based financial modeling
- Take ownership of internal systems and processes, produce pipeline reporting and provide analytics for senior management
- Learn and align with JPMorgan internal operating procedures and polices, contribute to content development for internal & external thought leadership
- Build & leverage internal network, principally with colleagues in Global Trade, Global Corporate Bank and Commercial Bank, as well as with Markets product partners and other functions within Wholesale Payments, as appropriate
- Gain hands-on experience in internal cross-border debt financing
- Ability to establish skills foundation for originating, structuring and executing financings
- Refine important business communication and analytical skills
- Gain understanding of institutional risk management policies and tools
- Carry out analysis for comparing alternative financing structures
- Develop relationship management proficiencies with internal and external clients, gain leadership skills by acting as a go-to person for certain aspects of deal management
- Develop familiarity with environmental, social and governance considerations surrounding international finance
- Familiarity with corporate finance through professional experience, interest in cross-border financing
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills and project management capability
- Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills preferred

J.P. Morgan Export & Agency Finance (“EAF”) a group of professionals within Trade & Working Capital focused on designing and delivering structured trade solutions aimed at meeting our clients’ unique needs across a highly collaborative global platform. We partner with export credit agencies (“ECAs”), multilaterals agencies (“MLAs”) and development finance institutions (“DFIs”) (together, “Agency or Agencies”) to support our clients with financing structures that feature credit enhanced loans and/or direct loans. ECAs are established by governments to promote national exports. DFIs and MLAs are public financing institutions with economic development missions.
Our EAF team interacts with client relationship management teams and product partners to provide Agency supported financing solutions for J.P. Morgan clients. The team operates across a range of industry segments working closely together to manage relationships with the Agencies, other bank partners and active borrowers of ECA financing.
EAF Americas has geographic responsibility for the origination and execution of Agency supported financing with Americas-based (North America and Latin America & Caribbean) clients and with Americas-based Agencies.
