      In a call center setting, Senior Investment Specialists provide the highest caliber of service to Merrill Edge clients through general inquiries, account maintenance, online access, website navigation and execution/confirmation of trade orders initiated by self-directed clients. Senior Investment Specialists also uncover additional client needs, deepen existing relationships and refer clients to partner businesses Associates provide limited research and counseling services on limited products but do not develop client relationships. May follow up on client contacts to close the sale of investment products. Licensing requirements are as follows: Series 7 & 66 (or 63 & 65 equivalent).

      Trade Elevation Senior Investment Specialists deliver phone based support to internal and external clients. The team is leveraged to manage frontline risk through answering inquiries regarding buying power, margin, investment products, trading, market mechanics and corporate action inquiries. The team also supports entering higher risk or uncommon trades which require greater expertise. Team members develop an expert understanding of internal policies, procedures and processes to leverage in their role of providing frontline risk mitigation. The role broadens as experience and expertise is gained. Opportunities include margin operations, trading pre-approvals, corporate actions administration, option risk mitigation among other risk management tasks and projects.

      Required Qualifications:

      • The Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent) are required to be considered for this role.

      • You have enough knowledge and experience to discuss the use of margin, equity and option trading, and related trading violations with clients.
      • You are comfortable with the Merrill Edge platform/website and client order entry procedure and understand the products and services provided by our firm.
      • You can expect to develop expertise in trading, markets, options and margin as a member of our Trade Elevation.

      Desired Qualifications:

      • You are a self-starter who can works independently, collaborates with other and is a very good communicator.
      • You have an interest in a variety of investment products and markets and have worked in a contact center or have retail investing/trading experience.

      Enterprise Job Description:
      This job is responsible for executing on client service activities by answering general inquiries, performing account maintenance, assisting with online access and website navigation, and executing and confirming trade orders initiated by self-directed clients. Key responsibilities include uncovering additional client needs, deepening existing relationships, and referring clients to partner businesses.

      Responsibilities:

      • Performs account maintenance, addresses online access requests, and prioritizes increasing overall client engagement and satisfaction through timely resolution and assistance with client inquiries
      • Assists with product fulfillment and supervision requirements including maintenance for missed review and Not In Good Order (NIGO), funding, terminations, and withdrawals requests
      • Engages in relationship building opportunities and partners with appropriate business counterparts when opportunities are identified
