      The Role

      The Trade Marketing Manager On Trade reports to The Trade Marketing Manager Benelux and is responsible for the category strategy for On trade channels (BE-NL-LUX) for all our brands.

      The position is responsible for channel plans building in order to support the achievement of strategic business objectives, by developing and implementing strategies and actions of the main levers of the Trade Marketing Mix:, differentiating them by type of channel, customer and point of sale.

      The Position is Based in Amsterdam (NDSM) but covers Benelux market. It can requires to assist to events after working hours or during weekends.

      The Trade marketing manager ontrade is part of the trade marketing and business dev team spread over Beligum & Netherlands (2 pax in NL – 3 pax in BE

      Mission & Objectives

      The mission is to be the link between Brand management & sales. Using the strategy & assets of each brand of our portfolio to translate it into a Best in class channel plan in order to win at the on-trade channel ensuring brand building effectiveness, return on investment & market share development.

      In a nutshell: Insuring to have the right universe coverage in order insuring to have the right brand at the right outlet with the right visibility & activation.

      Key Responsibilities & Activities

      Strategic Channel Management:

      • The position has the ownership of the strategy for the On Trade Channel,
      • Consistently with key strategic brand objectives, is responsible for developing the Channel & Customer Marketing plan in synergy with the Marketing Plan and close collaboration with the Ontrade Field Sales Manager & Wholesale Key accounts.
      • Defines the entire trade marketing mix actions & Building strategy in order to guarantee, sell-out, consumption activation and perfect serve

      • In collaboration with FSM, define the KPI’S for assigning resources/activities to the Field sales teams and the various actions to be implemented on the channel

      Follow up of Dedicated channel « programs :

      • It is responsible for supporting and developing, in collaboration with the ONtrade team & Marketing, projects aimed at identifying and developing a strong and consistent Brand experience (Bar tender program, Apero’road, …)

      BUDGET & KPIS

      • Be the data expert. Develop,follow & leverage data analysis in order to improve the different activities and processes
      • Fewer, bigger & better approach with strong focus on prioritization around key projects and must win battles that really maximize business impact
      • Follow up & Management of activity budget
      • Support & facilitate the contractual spending follow up/develop Trade terms/ improve contract strategy versus ;channel needs

      Analytics:

      • Ensure proper communication to the FSM of objectives and kpi’s of planned activities
      • Is responsible for the preparation and periodic presentation of analysis on the performance and the KPI activation of all the levers of the trade marketing mix

      Stakeholder management

      Internal:FIELD SALES MANAGER, KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER, FIELD SALES TEAM, BRAND MANAGER,BRAND ACTIVATION MANAGER, FINANCE,

      External: AGENCIES, LOGISTIC PARTNER, ONTRADE OUTLETS,

      Requirements

      • At least 4 years commercial experience in Horeca Market (marketing, sales or customer/trade marketing). A First trade marketing Experience is Plus.
      • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Administration or similar by experience.
