!*!Trade Operations Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Trade Operations Specialist to ensure efficient transaction processing and deliver exceptional service to our valued clients. In this role, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as Product Operations, Sales, and Management teams, to maintain operational standards, increase productivity, and manage risks. Your responsibilities will include resolving client issues, handling trade-related queries, and identifying improvement opportunities. With a strong understanding of trade products, regulations, and service quality principles, you will contribute to the strategic direction of Trade Operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure that transactions are processed within the terms of the Service Level Agreement while maintaining a high standard of service to our valued clients. This involves utilizing a range of trade services and instruments.
• Assist the Product Operations Team in achieving effective operational standards, increased productivity and efficiency, and good quality control on operational and transactional risks.
• Contribute to the future strategic direction and processing innovations for Trade Operations.
• Collaborate with Coverage, Transaction Banking Sales, Product Management, CTMU, and other key internal stakeholders to solve client issues.
• Handle and support Trade Client Service Managers (TCSMs) with trade-related queries from external and internal clients. Monitor the Transaction Dashboard and GEMS for pending transactions.
• Identify and resolve thematic issues based on service interactions (enquiries, complaints, incidents, client visits, etc.) within GEMS and other relevant systems as part of improvement initiatives.
• Comply with applicable Money Laundering Prevention Procedures and report any suspicious activity to the Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer and Line Manager.
• Ensure transactions are handled in accordance with Bank policies, operational guidelines, and standards. Escalate transactions that breach service level agreements or are approaching breach.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve client efficiency and performance by optimizing channel usage, identifying service improvements, product solutions, and cross-sell opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Possess a strong knowledge of Receivable, Payable, and Supply Chain Finance.
• Demonstrated experience in financial operations.
• In-depth understanding of various types of trade products, process flows, regulations, and accounting rules.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and operational skills.
• Excellent understanding of service quality principles.
• Familiarity with technology support systems used within the local environment.
• Proficient in PC skills and MS Office.
• Strong organizational skills and well-developed business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
