As a Trade Settlements Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely trade settlements for our Hedge fund clients in Europe. Be part of a fast-paced operations team that values collaboration and client service excellence.

      As a Trade Settlements Analyst within our dynamic operations team, you will be tasked with reviewing and resolving failing trades, primarily for our Hedge fund clients in Europe. Your role will involve regular collaboration with various internal lines of business, clients, and brokers. You will manage failing settlements, minimize risk, and build strong relationships with brokers, agents, and clients.

      Job responsibilities:

      • Ensures trades are settled in an accurate, timely, and efficient manner.
      • Proactively manages failing settlements to minimize risk and penalty charges.
      • Partners with brokers and internal teams to problem-solve failing trades.
      • Builds trusting, credible relationships with brokers, agents, and clients through responsive, high-quality client service.

      Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

      • Ability to act and communicate with humility, empathy, and kindness.
      • Highly motivated and proactive.
      • Ability to develop relationships with clients, the business, brokers, and various contacts across operations.
      • Ability to work with large data sets to identify trends and analyze findings for process improvement opportunities.
      • Controls and risk mindset, with awareness of compliance with relevant policies, controls, regulations, and escalation protocols.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

      Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

      • Familiarity with the trade lifecycle or the Prime Brokerage product.
      • Naturally curious thinker with the ability to challenge existing processes.
      • Optimistic approach to problem-solving, viewing problems as opportunities rather than roadblocks.
