As a Tradeport Utility, you will be working at our Swisher’s Tradeport facility, located near the Jacksonville, FL airport. This is a 3rd shift starting at 9:30PM until work is completed with a minimum 4 hours up to 12 hours per day.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick products for customer orders
• Label/stamp and count customer orders
• Set aside and repair damaged products
• Arrange and stock pick areas
• Assist in the inventory process
• Unload/load import/export containers
• Sort and segregate pallets
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Adhere to all company work and safety rules
• Assist in executing other assignments as directed by the supervisor to support Tradeport safety policies and procedures
• Qualified personnel provide on-the-job training

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Previous experience in a related field such as freight handling could be useful in this position
• Capable of handling weighty materials and carrying out challenging chores in varying weather circumstances
• Excellent attention to detail and a talent for organizing effectively
• The capacity to operate with efficiency in a swiftly moving setting where expectations for productivity are elevated

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work in hot and cold environments
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to bend, squat, and complete tasks on the floor
• Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
