      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Prepare PENNDOT highway occupancy permits, including necessary research, writing, drawing, and design calculations
      - Research code requirements and conduct research for transportation reports
      - Perform traffic counts and courthouse research
      - Assist in preparing traffic impact studies and construction plans for highways and/or traffic signals
      - Collaborate with team members on various transportation-related projects

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a transportation/highway/traffic emphasis
      - E.I.T. certification
      - Coursework and/or 0-2 years of experience working on relevant projects such as traffic signalization and highway design
      - Valid U.S. Driver's License and the legal right to work in the U.S.
      - Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous internship experience with a consulting engineering firm
      - Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation
      - Experience with traffic software, such as HCS or Synchro
