      Location: El Paso, Texas

      Environment: Onsite

      Status: Non-Exempt; Hourly

      Purpose of Your Work:

      As a Dry-Van Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspections and repairs to trailers.

      How You Make a Difference Everyday:

      • Perform semi-trailer DOT inspections
      • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues
      • Troubleshoot and repair ABS issue
      • Repair all maintenance items on trailer, replace wheel seals, brakes, leaf springs, air bags, brake chambers, etc.
      • Repair all structural and non-structural damage to the trailer, patch holes in roof or roof replacement, duraplate panel repair or sectioning or replacement, top and bottom rail repairs or sectioning or replacement, etc.
      • Able to do service calls after hours and weekends

      You’ve Got This?

      • Welding experience preferable
      • Three years of general dry-van trailer repair experience
      • Able to work on computer
      • Have own tools
      • Have valid driver’s license and be available for a rotation of on-call hours
      • Must be able to bend, kneel, push/pull, reach, and lift up to 60 lbs.
      • Must be able to read, write and speak English/Spanish proficiently

      Work Schedule:

      This position is full-time and onsite Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.

      Compensation Range:

      Salary Range:

      $17.00/hr to $20.00/hr

      This position is eligible to earn annual incentives based on individual and company performance.

      The estimated pay range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographical location in which the applicant lives and/or which they will be performing the job.
