About the role We are looking for a Trainee Asset Inspector to join our trainee program that will enable you to obtain industry skills and knowledge while under the Supervision of qualified and experienced Asset Inspector. Zinfra Trainees are required to complete components of their training online in addition to on the job workplace and worksite rotations. At the end of the program, the successful Trainee will have completed all competencies for a Cert II Asset Inspector. Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to * Execute all works allied with asset inspection programs within timeframes, to budget and in a safe manner as engaged. * Proficient in the use of digital equipment and software. (digital camera, phone, tablet) * Ensuring that all equipment including vehicles, plant and materials are in a clean, well maintained and good working order. * Deliver timely reporting as required on the progress of projects, quality standards and work practices as required to both management and its customers (includes taking photos of defects and structure and system updates). * Actively participate in and be accountable for personal and team members health, safety and general wellbeing. About You To be considered for a Traineeship you must have completed Year 11 and have a drivers licence or plan to have obtained your licence by January 2024. A pre-apprenticeship qualification or trade experience will benefit your application but is not essential.
