- One years experience within a domiciliary care service (desirable)
- Well organised with good attention to detail.
- Ability to think on their feet and remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, experience of sensitively dealing with people over the phone and in person.
- IT literate.
- Ability to work as part of a team and work unsupervised.
- Must be a driver with access to their own car.
- One years experience within a domiciliary care service (desirable)

Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic trainee care coordinator to be based in the Leyburn office. As a trainee care coordinator, you will work as part of the care coordinator team, reporting to the Registered Manager, and you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the service, ensuring Premiere Cares clients and carers receive an excellent, well managed and efficient service.
The successful candidate will be well organised, computer literate and with a confident, caring approach to dealing with the public, both over the phone and in person. They must be a car owner / driver with a full UK driving licence and it is desirable (but not essential) that candidate's have some past experience of working in the care industry. We will provide in-depth training on our systems and process, as well as care training and experience for those who do not have prior experience.

Premiere Care is a 2nd generation family run home care business established in 2002 and operating with clients across North Yorkshire, with some live-in clients all over England. Our clients are mostly self-funding, but we also have North Yorkshire funded hourly care clients, as well as some NHS funded care. We are recruiting for a new Trainee Care coordinator.
