Job Description
- Req#: 2236
- Support in the creation of colour and material concepts
- Creation of sourcing materials for Vitras CMF strategies
- Organization of the library & supplier meeting and support in the preparation of the designer meeting
- Support in the development and production in liaison with suppliers
- Staying up-to-date with sustainable and innovative material research
- Working closely with the marketing team to ensure coherent communication of CMF strategies
- Previous experience in the furniture, industrial design or interior design field and a strong interest in materials and colours and textile design (knitting or weaving)
- Good communication skills, are a pro-active thinker and excel through great organization skills.
- Familarity with Adobe Suite and Microsoft Suite, knowledge with 3D Modeling software is a plus.
- You are very comfortable in English (spoken and written), German language skills are a plus

Our common goal
Vitra design team is looking for a Trainee in the Colour, Material & Finishes (CMF) team. You will work closely with Vitra's senior CMF designer and are actively contributing in the design and product development process of our furniture.
