      We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic summer trainee to support the global Hiab Strategy team with various tasks revolving around Strategy, Market Insights, and Competitive Intelligence at our HQ in Helsinki. As a summer trainee, you will work closely with the central strategy team, division strategists and several stakeholders internationally on assignments and projects that are of high priority for our leadership team. This team defines the corporate strategy, based on solid research and insights, works on several strategic projects, and works closely together with our M&A and Sustainability teams.       Main tasks and responsibilities:

      • Conducting thorough market research to unveil the latest market trends, growth opportunities, and potential risks
      • Analyzing competitor performance, industry benchmarks, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making
      • Participating actively in various tasks related to the annual strategy round
      • Working in Strategic projects, supporting the preparation of executive-level presentations and reports
      • Contributing to the creation of comprehensive strategy and market intelligence dashboards for effective decision support
      • Performing ad-hoc analyses for the leadership team

      What we expect from you:

      • Currently pursuing a Master's degree or finalizing a Bachelor's degree (for example in Business, Economics, Engineering, Management, or a related field) with an outstanding academic record
      • A structured and strategic approach to problem-solving, showcasing your analytical mindset
      • Excellent analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. Familiarity with BI tools like Looker Studio is considered an advantage
      • Strong communication skills, including a solid understanding of building compelling presentations in PowerPoint/Google Slides
      • Relevant work experience from internships in consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, market intelligence, business development, or a similar analytical field is considered an advantage
      • Passion for strategic decision making, using analytical approach to solve business-relevant problems and questions
      • Solid English language skills to work with an international team
