- Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role.
- Previous surgical experience.
- Demonstrated progress towards career goals in plastic surgery and clinical competence.
- Demonstrated clinical competency; demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills and judgement and expertise.
- Demonstrated capacity to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What you will be doing:This position is open to qualified candidates with a background in Surgery. You will be Involved in the inpatient service as well as the outpatient Plastic Surgery service with appropriate degrees of independence. You will have the opportunity to enhance your surgical skills, with support provided for research and teaching activities. Candidates for this position will engage in self-directed as well as work-directed learning of relevant principles and material.

The Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at RPAH, in which the successful applicant will work, offers comprehensive Plastic Surgery services in a large tertiary referral hospital. The departments provides Plastic Surgery to the local community as well as complex tertiary and quaternary level services. You will be part of a leading, innovative and dynamic team.
