- In collaboration with the VP, design, adapt, and update training programs for store employees (sales, customer service, inventory management, POS system usage, etc.).
- Develop training materials (presentations, guides, videos, e-learning modules, etc.).
- Deliver in-person and online training sessions tailored to the needs of stores and employees.
- Conduct onboarding training for new hires and ongoing training for existing teams.
- Regularly visit stores to observe employees in real-life situations and provide individual or group coaching.
- Identify specific team needs and adapt training accordingly.
- Work closely with district and store managers to ensure training is implemented and followed up effectively.
- Assess training effectiveness through employee and manager feedback, as well as performance indicators (sales, customer satisfaction, productivity).
- Adjust and improve training content based on field needs and feedback.
- Develop evaluation tools in collaboration with the VP to measure employee progress and skill integration.
- Work with HR, marketing, and operations teams to ensure training programs align with company goals.
- Participate in the implementation of new in-store initiatives and procedures.
- Monitor retail trends and propose training innovations.
- Coordinate travel across Canada and manage logistics for training sessions.
- Maintain training records and track progress of trained employees.
- Experience in training, retail sales, or store management.
- Excellent communication and group facilitation skills.
- Ability to motivate and coach sales teams.
- Strong knowledge of retail trends and best practices in customer service.
- Comfortable with digital tools and online learning platforms.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Canada.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both French and English (to collaborate effectively with English-speaking employees across Canada).
