- Provide customer service to course program managers through collecting and compiling applicable course resource requirements.
- Manage and schedule all classroom and conference spaces for Organizational education opportunities within Department of Education Training and Research.
- Coordinate and monitor employee's short and long term development and training.
- Demonstrate ability to prioritize and reprioritize daily tasks in order to align with supervisor and/or departmental goals upon request.
- Plan developmental programs for employee development based on organizations long-range training plans.
- Schedule, assist and assign all Military Training Network required courses.
- Assist first line supervisor in creating, maintaining, and projecting training calendar.
- Provide administrative support to Enterprise required training programs.
- Respond to inquiries regarding available training, eligibility, and applicant processes.
- Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with representatives within the installation, other commands and other Government agencies in support of mission accomplishment.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent to have tuberculosis testing.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Tier 1 security investigation or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

About the Position: This position is located within the Directorate for Education, Training, and Research located within A.T. Augusta Military Medical Center (formerly Fort Belvoir Community Hospital). The work schedule is 5 days a week, 8 hours per day, day-time hours. Incumbent will collaborate with course program mangers through collecting and compiling applicable course resource requirements.Duties

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes working in a medical treatment facility; utilizing automated management systems to pull reports and/or track data; coordinating/scheduling classrooms or conference rooms for trainings; providing guidance on training or developmental programs (such as availability, eligibility, the application process, etc.). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, MS in Education.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
