Job Description
- Req#: 30970
- Management of Trust and KMC bursary programs;
- Management of the recruitment process for the bursary programme;
- Mentoring and coaching of bursary students;
- Managing the Socio-Economic Development budget;
- Management of customer and community related projects;
- Identifying and performing due diligence on proposed projects;
- Planning SED events with internal and external SED stakeholders in line with KMC Programme and Operations Policies and Procedures; and
- Providing support in coordination of all Transformation related events. e.g. Mandela day, Heritage day and employee volunteerism etc.
- Grade 12;
- Degree/Diploma in Social Sciences/ Human Resources Management or Corporate Communications;
- Minimum 2- 5 years’ experience within a Social Science, Human Resources Management /Corporate Communications environment;
- Project Management experience would be an advantage;
- Budget management experience is required;
- In depth knowledge of the Transformation climate in South Africa is essential;
- Must have MS Office, good report writing and presentation skills; and
- Must have valid driver’s licence and own transport.
- Must have strong drive for results;
- Must have good communication and organizing skills;
- Must be a self-starter who takes control and accountability;
- Must be able to work collaboratively within a matrix organization; and
- Must be willing to travel to different sites to monitor projects.
