      We are looking for a dedicated Training Coordinator to join our growing GardaWorld Team and play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our security personnel. You will be responsible for the delivery of GardaWorld and CBSA approved training programs, ensuring that all frontline and supervisory personnel have the knowledge and skill required to be competent, confident, and compliant with all contractual, provincial, and federal training requirements.       Pay Rate: $31.00 to $33.88/hour

      What to expect as a Training Instructor (CBSA)

      • Design and develop training programs and materials tailored to the specific needs of our security personnel.
      • Conduct training sessions and workshops in person for security staff, both new and existing team members, ensuring that training is engaging, effective, and up to date.
      • Assess the effectiveness of CBSA training through evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics and make improvements.
      • Ensure all training programs meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
      • Coordinate training schedules, virtual platforms, venues, CBSA locations and resources efficiently.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including CBSA management, GardaWorld management, to identify training needs and develop training plans accordingly.
      • Stay current with industry trends, CBSA requirements, and security best practices to ensure training materials remain relevant.

      Successful Candidate must have the following:

      • Proven experience in training and development, preferably in the security industry (minimum 5 years of progressive experience).
      • Minimum if 200 hours of recent teaching experience.
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
      • Strong organizational and time management skills.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and training software/tools.
      • Valid BST License

      Nice to have the Following:

      • Provincial Advanced Security Training (or willingness to complete)
      • Use of Force certification / PPCT or equivalent training
      • Use of Force or PPCT instructor certification (desired)
      • Tactical communication / MOAB / NVCI training (desired)
      • Mental Health First Aid (desired)
      • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
      • Experience in adult learning principals and course facilitation
      • Experience working within the criminal justice systems of law enforcement, courts, or closely allied occupations.
