      Transaction Analyst, Private Fixed Income
      The Transaction Analyst, Private Fixed Income role is responsible for supporting all transaction activities performed by the group that occur before and after initial underwriting – assisting in portfolio management of existing holdings, reporting and other ad hoc activities. Private Fixed Income includes the Private Placements and Energy Infrastructure Credit (EIC) teams, which manage $70B+ in private debt investments across the credit spectrum for SMAs, private funds, and co-investments. The Transaction Analyst would primarily support Credit Tenant Loans (CTLs) within Private Placements, as well as EIC investments.

      Key Responsibilities and Duties

      • Assist in portfolio management of existing portfolio holdings and assist in the closing process of new transactions for the CTL and EIC teams

      • Assist with transaction related tasks for the CTL team, including constructing and modifying amortization schedules, analyzing annual operating budgets and reviewing and analyzing annual financial statements

      • Assist with administrative agent responsibilities for EIC investments, including the co-investment process

      • Support the deal teams in execution of portfolio company’s amendment/requests

      • Assist in maintaining information for investments and coordinating internal and external reporting requirements

      • Monitor borrower compliance with transaction specific obligations for existing transactions

      • Conduct portfolio level analysis

      • Work closely with Nuveen’s construction monitor on construction loan related issues

      • Prepare and ensure completion of all required transaction documents.

      • Assist with international compliance requirements on new investments

      REQUIRED:

      • 1-3 years in finance or asset management background

      PREFFERED:

      • Must be proficient in excel
      • Strong written and verbal communications

      Base Pay Range: $75,000/yr. - $90,000/yr.

      Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
