      Job Description:


      This job is responsible for moderately complex transaction and fulfillment processing, including the movement of assets into and out of accounts for Merrill and Private Bank banking, brokerage and personal retirement including operational support, research & maintenance, disbursement processing, reconciliation and settlement services. Key responsibilities include review and execution of account reconciliation, settlement, funds transfer support, for internal and external partners. Providing quality service and operations support for internal business partners and external clients, in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. Job expectations include handling of operational processes which may carry medium to high levels of monetary risks.


      Responsibilities:

      • Performs daily review of internal ledgers for LMA/BANA/MLBTC(Cayman) settlement accounts mitigating risk and losses due to un-reconciled ledgers or accounts.
      • Review financial reporting in conjunction with the respective settlement(s).
      • Monitoring and process e-mail requests via an internal Team mailbox.
      • Act as liaison for various business partners through ownership and problem resolution.
      • Performs moderately complex transaction processing and reconciliation with medium to large monetary impact according to the established written guidelines and procedures.
      • Responds to moderately complex client inquiries via numerous channels to support operational efficiency and quality client service.
      • Responsible for the analysis and resolution of moderately complex transactions requiring escalations and exceptions.
      • Proactively identifies risk and opportunities for process improvements based on an understanding of how the work impacts other operational units.

      Skills:

      • Ability to provide support to executive level internal partners (Trust Officers and other Merrill Teams).
      • Required to process money movement requests for Private Bank Trust accounts, Merrill Lynch Bank and Trust (Cayman) Ltd and Merrill Lynch accounts through the processing of internal wires and Journal Entries
      • Process requests related to Stop Payments, Check Voids, Security Movement, ACH, Fed & State taxes, write-off’s, class actions, transaction maintenance and fees.
      • Ability to review internal ledgers and bank accounts for activity posted aging.
      • Ability to perform daily review check printing, and check payment pay/return requests.

      • 2 to 3 years Private Bank/Merrill Lynch transaction processing knowledge
