- Review, research, and resolve general ledger differences and ATM deposit customer claims requests using Transaction Inquiry, Check Inquiry, Systems Applications and Products, Strategic Banking Systems, Consolidated Claims System, Customer Assist, Enterprise Service Delivery System, Suspicious Actor Reports, Instant Image, All Item Data Warehouse, and Microsoft Excel
- Communicate with various departments using telephone, email, and application comments online, and Microsoft Excel
- Post clearing entries for resolved exceptions by creating a general ledger upload for SAP in Microsoft Excel, writing out physical debit and credit general ledger tickets, creating electronic entries, and creating Photo-in-lieu of checks for processing
- Resolve business partner originated research requests
- Complete daily productivity reports using Microsoft Excel spreadsheet
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Four or more years banking experience in a research oriented position with potential customer impact
- Extensive understanding of bank accounting and ability to perform higher math functions
- Must be proficient in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and problem solving skills
- Must be able to use department policies and procedures to prioritize resolution of open items, must also be able to look beyond the obvious to resolve more difficult exception items
- Good written and verbal communication skills, you will spend at least 25% of time communicating with others to assist in resolving exception items or in detailing the resolution of exception items.

Job summary
This position is responsible to enhance the customer experience through researching and finalizing Chase ATM related customer exceptions associated with ATM’s including; but not limited to customer missing deposits, deposit posting errors , customer claims, & diverted transactions. This position will also be responsible for ATM deposit cash ownership, including researching all outages, counterfeit customer identification, missing settlement trending, vendor/branch process non-compliance, and process improvement. This analyst is expected to develop partnerships with their ATM branch and vendor, while also developing insight on hardware nuances to help communicate potential ATM settlement issues. It requires the use of various software, web based, and mainframe applications. Communication, in both written and verbal formats with various Retail and Card ATM operations departments, of the results of research efforts within established service level agreements will be necessary.
