      Join Chase, on the ATM Claims and Exceptions team to ensure smooth financial transactions and opportunity for growth with a dynamic team.

      As a Transactions Specialist IV in the ATM Claims and Exceptions department your primary responsibility is to enhance the customer experience through researching and finalizing Chase ATM related customer exceptions associated with ATM’s. You will be responsible for tasks that include; but not limited to researching customer missing deposits, deposit posting errors , customer claims, & diverted transactions. You will also be responsible for ATM deposit cash ownership, including researching all outages, counterfeit customer identification, missing settlement trending, vendor/branch process non-compliance, and process improvement. You will be expected to develop partnerships with ATM branch and Vendors, while developing insight on hardware nuances to help communicate potential issues.

      Job responsibilities

      • Review, research, and resolve general ledger differences and ATM deposit customer claim requests using EBODS Transaction Inquiry, DF Check Inquiry, SAP, Eagle, CCS Claims, CCS Adjustments, Customer Assist, ESDS, Reflection Workspace, AEFE, Enterprise Image Viewer, SAR Reports.
      • Communicate with various departments using Zoom, Outlook, Microsoft Teams and CCS.
      • Post clearing transactions for resolved exceptions by creating electronic debit and credit GL entries, and creating Photo-in-lieu of checks for processing.
      • Resolve business partner originated research requests - includes ability to use department policies and procedures to prioritize resolution of open items.
      • Use Genesys to track productivity.
      • Spend at least 25% of time communicating with others to assist in resolving exception items or in detailing the resolution of exception items.

      Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

      • 4+ years banking experience in a research oriented position with potential customer impact
      • Extensive understanding of bank accounting and ability to perform higher math functions
      • Be Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
      • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and problem solving skills
      • Good written and verbal communication skills

      Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

      • College degree
      • SAP experience

      Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Hybrid
