      About the Medication Services Program

      Our Medication Services program support clients enrolled in mental health services through Med Clinics spread out across several ReDiscover locations. At our Med Clinics, our staff evaluates each client and prescribe and monitor medication as necessary. The program also supports some clients within various ReDiscover Substance Use Disorder programs as well.

      What You’ll Do

      • Administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatment according to specific psychiatrist protocols: Set up the TMS Medical device and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy.
      • Provide medical intervention in emergent situations and uses clinical judgment to identify potential adverse reactions during treatment.
      • Schedule appointments, administering TMS treatments as prescribed, and assisting patients.
      • Provides education to clients and families about the TMS procedure, expected outcomes and follow-up care.
      • Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding coverage requirements, including obtaining necessary prior authorizations.
      • Administer psychiatric rating scales and document outcomes.
      • Responsible for creating a clean therapeutic and healing environment that provides the best care and the best patient experience.
      • Keep the exam rooms organized by notifying the correct individual when supplies are low and stocks the supplies.
      • Safeguard Protected Health Information (written and electronically) and maintains confidentiality. This may include providing written documentation, scanning and/or uploading records into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This may also include requesting and/or releasing client information or medical records.


      Requirements of the Position

      • Availability to work a full-time schedule (40 hours a week), Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
      • High School Diploma or GED required.
      • Experience working with patients suffering from anxiety and depression preferred.
      • A valid automobile operator’s license.
      • Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.
      • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
      • Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as GSuite.
