      Here at GXO, we are currently on the search for an enthusiastic Transport Coordinator to join our team in Bedworth. This position will give you the opportunity to shadow the Transport Manager to gain more experience and knowledge to get to that next stage in your Transporting career. You will deliver clear operational direction, leadership and development to the operations team ensuring, all specified performance levels are achieved.

      This is a full time, permanent position working any 5 days from 7, 10:00 – 18:00. When the supervisors are on annual leave you will cover the 4 on 4 off shift pattern, both days and nights, 06:30 – 18:30 and 18:30 – 06:30. You will be compensated with overtime to cover these shifts when needed.

      We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).       What you’ll do on a typical day:

      • Develop and maintain plans and reports of forecasting storage capacity avaliable across the site to support the profit and efficiency of the operation
      • Ensure company compliance requirements are adhered to, including vehicles are legally compliant for use
      • Demonstrate a high level of people management skills and develop the same skills in direct reports and colleagues
      • Ensure all direct activities have a relevant standard operating procedure and actively pursue, the elimination of waste through the application of continuous improvement tools and techniques
