DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking an Transport Planner to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of efficient and profitable network transport plans, meeting network KPI's and exceeding customer SLA's.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Utilise the Transport Management System to manage the order, build loads and trips, allocate vehicle/trailer resource as well as Drivers to the plan
• Work with site operational teams to ensure continuous improvement of planning process
• Interrogate systems to provide management information to support continuous improvement of planning process
• To provide management information and carry out analysis as required

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Transport planning experience
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Good understanding of Drivers Regulations
