Job Description

- To directly assist Operational Management by managing and generating the shipping requirements for distribution routes, from warehouse to end-user, maintaining precise and up-to-date performance reports for your designated shift
- To manage and implement productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames while always maintaining standards of excellence
- To track and trace shipping orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that all legislation and records are maintained and kept at optimum level
- To monitor recruitment levels and initiate staff training as required, keeping up-to-date records in-line with company policies
- Proven track record in managing logistics and transport operations effectively. Experience in leading and managing a team of 50+ colleagues, fostering collaboration and high performance will be required.
- Capable of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment both on-site and on the road.
- Hold Valid O License - This desirable, for overseeing transport operations and ensuring compliance with regulations.
