- Ability to review and analyze forecast the outbound shipment volume
- Analyze daily route information and implement changes to daily routing to ensure efficient, proactive, and immediate improvements to route standardization, efficiency and accuracy using the internal routing platform
- Quickly and proactively evaluate and resolve problems that may arise while trucks and drivers are in transit.
- Analyze trends in swing percentage to identify improvement opportunities.
- Ability to expect the unexpected and monitor and adjust today and tomorrow's plans throughout the day.
- Participates and/or leads strategic projects related to freight and transportation, implementing improvements in the process and operation that would either reduce costs or increase logistics efficiency.
- Monitor/Negotiate transportation costs ensuring low cost with a high service level, contracts/rates for shipment, storage fees, and distribution status of the product
- Various systems management (internal and external) to accomplish daily/weekly/monthly tasks.
- Ability to proficiently manage multiple tasks/projects while staying organized in day-to-day activities.
- Work directly with 3PLs to resolve customer complaints and issues.
- Establish and measure KPIs by applying statistical methods that could positively drive the performance of on-time delivery, warehouse inventory management, and product quality
- Documenting and data collection for supporting departments/activities
- Ability to make decisions based on cost and service drivers to better serve the organization.
- Ad-hoc support includes providing ad-hoc support for our sales team, executives, supply chain team, the finance team, accounting team, and regulatory team (providing documents, creating reports, and more as requested)
- Bachelor's Degree preferred and 5+ years of experience in logistics and/or transportation.
- Load Planning/Order Management experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Strong Excel proficiency and skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in teams and work with remote teammates.
- Works on problems of limited and routine scope where limited analysis of data requires identification of predetermined solutions.
- Exercises judgment within defined practices and policies in selection of methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- General knowledge of logistics operations related to an employee's specific area of work, and knowledge of overall logistics operations.
- Can identify standard problems within the delivery cycle and make a recommendation to provide a solution to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work extended periods of time in an open office environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
- Strong leadership skills & people management.

Position Summary:
Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Analyst to collaborate cross-functionally with the Supply Chain Planner, Logistics Planner, Customer Management, and Transportation Operations teams.
In this role, the Logistic Analyst will ensure that all deliveries are effectively translated into a systemic analysis of large volumes of data within the Transportation Management System (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS). This analysis will support the achievement of sales targets and the fulfillment of customer delivery expectations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in data management, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
