Owning and maintaining the freight business insight process and tools to allow reporting to stakeholders
Report freight insights to various stakeholders and grow the ability to explain freight fluctuations
Own and supervise the freight settlement processes
Leverage business insight tools and operational knowledge to seek and identify structurally small and large-scale optimization opportunities for machine deliveries to European dealers which help to reduce Caterpillar’s overall freight cost;
Demonstrate project management skills and leadership in implementing identified opportunities, including coordination with all involved stakeholders;
Support the deployment of LEAN principles which will help to focus on the customer while reducing our waste levels in transportation processes.
Bachelor / Master degree, preferably in Logistics or Supply chain, Engineering, Finance, IT or assimilated.
Strong interest in the logistics and transportation process and network design and transportation solutions.
Strong interest, confirmed affinity and growing capabilities in analytics and business intelligence tools (PowerBI), customer relationship management tools (Salesforce) and transportation systems.
Strong communication and relationship management skills.
Proficient English communication skills.

As Transportation Analyst in the Outbound Prime Product Transportation Team, you will play a vital role in owning the freight business insights (BI) process, overlooking the freight settlement processes, and implementing improvement projects to help support Caterpillar’s freight cost reduction . To be successful, this key role requires that you have appetite in developing your BI skills, system skills, project management skills and interface with various internal teams to support your goals.
